Mona Hart, OTR/L
Mona is the head of our Occupational Therapy Department, she is a graduate of San Jose State University with a Bachelor’s in Occupational Therapy since 1999. Mona’s area of specialty is pediatrics. She currently facilitates the fine motor, sensory motor, and feeding group sessions of our in-center global therapy program. Mona has developed an exciting family oriented approach to intervention, and includes the family in every aspect of therapy.
Krishna received her B.S. in Speech & Hearing in 1992, and went on to gain an M.A. in Psychology, as well as an M.S. in Communicative Disorder from California State University, Northridge in 2009. Krishna Mala began as a SLPA with Apple Tree in 2003. Krishna has vast experience in pediatrics. Krishna Mala is FEES trained, she is trained in MyoFacial Release Techniques, as well as Vital Stim Certified.
Kay Fielder received her B.S. in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Illinois State University in 1975 and her M.A. in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Illinois in 1976. She worked as a Speech and Language Pathologist for five years in the public school system in Wisconsin and California. As Program Specialist for the Greater Anaheim SELPA for 33 years, Kay managed the Early Start Program for infants and toddlers with special needs, participated in the preschool transdisciplinary assessment team, and coordinated the regional Deaf/Hard of Hearing Program in north Orange County. Kay enjoys collaborating with families to design treatment that can be implemented in therapeutic, home, and community settings. Many simple everyday occurrences provide excellent opportunities to enhance a child’s communication development and parents are a child’s first and best teacher.
Speech Language Pathology Assistant
Victoria Sanchez earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Cal State Fullerton in 2014 and her SLPA license from Loma Linda University in 2015. She has worked in both school and clinical settings and runs the Language portion of our Global Group Program as well as the Kids Talk social group and individual speech therapy. She enjoys working with kids of all ages and helping them grow to do the best they can.

Kathleen began her career in the area of child development and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with an emphasis in Counseling at Hope International University. To further her education in the counseling field, Kathleen sought her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She currently provides counseling services for individuals, families and children who are struggling with challenging circumstances and looking for guidance.
